How to Create a Simple Ad Using the Text Widget

An ad for your sidebar is often done easily by creating a graphic, dropping it in your text widget, or using the image widget, then hyperlinking it to another page or site for more details. But not all of us have the luxury of creating graphics or once created, being able to edit the ad when needed. In this video I will show you how to create a simple, editable ad, using the text widget and without knowing html.

  1. Another great video Bob: much appreciated!
On a totally different topic, but something I hope you can help with:
How do you get that author box, with the live link to Google, at the end of each post?
I’ve got g+ authorship working but I don’t know how to get that to appear.
I know with some themes (like Genesis), once authorship was created it automagically put a link to g+ with each blog post.
I have Headway theme. I’ve got g+ authorship. Now I want that author box with g+ link. Help please? Many thanks in advance. Kaarina
