There are a lot of conferences out there. And with limited resources, both time and money, it can be hard to choose. But New Media Expo (formerly BlogWorld Expo) is on the top of the list for me. Between the sessions, and all the people I connect (and reconnect) with, these three days are invaluable. I always walk away exhausted, but at the same time energized.
This will be my fourth time, and my third time speaking. I’ve been to the conferences in Las Vegas, LA, and New York. And I’m sure it won’t be the last!
But enough about me.
How would you like to win a 3-day pass to New Media Expo?
Of course, you would need to take care of your own lodging and airfare. But these passes are valued at $297, and that’s a bunch of bucks to save! Especially if you were already planning on going. And I have two of them to give away!
What do you need to do to win? I’m going to make it easy.
We all have those good and not-so-good memories from past conferences. I do myself. Fortunately none of bad ones have ever happened at New Media Expo. But nonetheless, they have happened. So tell me, what is the worse, best, or most clever thing you remember about something a speaker did or said at a conference—any conference— you attended. Did they pop up on stage and say “Wow, I sure am glad to be standing. I woke up with the biggest pimple on my butt this morning”. Okay, that was more info then I needed to know. But seriously, share your best, worst or most unusual moments. And let’s leave out names, okay?
Please only comment if you definitely plan on making use of this pass.
I will leave comments open until this Friday, 5 pm PST. Then I will choose two winners randomly.
Lastly, I would love to meet you if you win. So let’s tentatively plan for the three of us to grab lunch together on one of the conference days. We’ll chat about anything you want…. blogging, WordPress, even the weather. And if you don’t win, please ping me at the conference so we can at least say hi.
Let the comments begin!
Drumroll please… and we have our winners!
Well, this have been a lot of fun and I want to thank everyone who participated and left a comment.
