Instead, I help you get the most out of WordPress’s out-of-the-box features and improve your site’s functionality with the most effective widgets and plugins. I have tons of experience in helping people make their blogs and websites more streamlined and user-friendly. I’m a blogger myself, so I can help you start right, improve your current strategies and find more ways to connect your social media activity to your blog or website.
Because I owned my own marketing business for 20 years, you won’t just get help with design. We’ll also look at ways social media and content marketing components can help your blog or website attract more customers and readers. I have taught hundreds of people how to leverage WordPress, blogging and social media to get better results. And an added plus: my practical, non-geek way style means you aren’t lost in a sea of confusing terms.
Theme Selection & Training
Are you trying to figure out what theme will work best for you? Or have you purchased a theme only to get lost in its features? Use my retainers for help in finding the theme that will work best for you. Or, I can help you understand and get more control over your current theme. I have worked with dozens of themes, but I am the most experienced with Studio Press’s Genesis and its child themes and WooThemes. If you are using another theme, I will need a little of the time you purchased to familiarize myself with it. I don’t do training on custom, ground-up framework themes like Headway, Catalyst, Thesis, etc.
All sessions can be recorded
At the beginning of each session please let me know if you would like it recorded. All recordings are online and password protected. Best of all, these are included at no extra cost.

How it works: My packages work on a 1-hour minimum, so having your list of needs ready will maximize your time
Purchase the $225 retainer (2 hours time*) and choose to do a single online session or break it up in two 1-hour sessions. (Must be used within 30 days of purchase.)
Purchase the $500 retainer (5 hours time*) and choose a mix of as many hours as you want, with a minimum of 1 hour at a a time. (Must be used within 45 days of purchase.)
Purchase the $900 retainer (10 hours of time*) and choose a mix of as many hours as you want, one hour minimum at a time. (Must be used within 45 days of purchase.)
Bonus: Sometimes you may ask me a question that is answered by viewing one of my free videos. Instead of explaining it to you (and deducting time from your retainer), I’ll just send you a link to the video. You’ll save time and money at the same time!
Exceptions to the rules: There are just a few things that I don’t provide training or coaching on:

HTML, CSS, or PHP
If you aren’t sure your needs fall into these areas, contact me and I will let you know or I may have simpler workaround.
REFUNDS: Retainers are non-refundable and must be used by the designated time limits.
* SCHEDULING: If you need to schedule time within a week, please contact me beforehand so I can be sure it’s do-able. Be aware that my schedule really varies and the time we are able to start working on your needs will depend on it. Also, ongoing sessions need to be scheduled in advance.
Scheduling times: I schedule all online sessions Monday-Friday, 8 am – 4 pm Pacific Standard Time. Typically I don’t do evenings and weekends. If weekends are your only options, please contact me first and we will try to work out a schedule.
